Exempt Accommodation
OUR
EXEMPT ACCOMMODATION

Exempt accommodation is a type of supported accommodation that requires a landlord, or someone acting on their behalf to provide care, support and supervision.

Exempt accommodation can provide people with the stepping stone they need to begin their journey towards independence.

Reliance believes that every tenant should feel safe within their accommodation and promotes equal rights and access to opportunities.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE FOR EXEMPT ACCOMMODATION?
Reliance Social Housing offers accommodation to tenants who have been assessed as being, or at risk of becoming, street homeless.
To qualify for accommodation with support, the applicant must demonstrate a housing need as well as other support needs that prevents them from sustaining their own tenancy independently.
YOUR SUPPORT PROVISION
Support Workers work with tenants to create an individual support plan that enable the tenant to work towards developing and maintaining key living skills and coping mechanisms which will equip them with the necessary skills to manage their own tenancy independently.
